Mahindra Mojo 300 Sports - New Look

Mahindra Mojo 300 Sports - New Look

Mahindra is going to launch the sports edition of it's successful motorbike Mojo 300, as its name suggests, the Mojo 300 features a 300cc-single cylinder four stroke engine. This fuel injected motor operates on a 4 valve-DOHC layout and outputs 25 Bhp of peak power. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox that powers the rear wheel of the motorcycle through a chain drive. The motorcycle comes with impressive suspension specifications in the form of upside down front forks and a monoshock layout at the rear. The motorcycle’s wheels come shod with chunky tyres and disc brakes on both wheels.

The Mahindra Mojo 300 will be built in India and is expected to feature a decent degree of localization. Expect the motorcycle to be priced at under the INR 2 lakh mark given that Mahindra TwoWheelers is a relatively new brand when it comes to high performance motorcycles. The Mojo will compete with the likes of the KTM Duke 200 and the Honda CBR250R, which is formidable competition indeed. So, Mahindra TwoWheelers does have its task cut out, for it is venturing into a space where high reliability and high performance go hand in hand.
